Knox Presbyterian Church is committed to ongoing mission projects both at a local level and on a national and international level.
Members of our congregation have committed to working with a variety of organizations in the Twin Cities, and the church as a whole financially assists several others. Following is a partial list of organizations that Knox Presbyterian supports:
Bill's Pantry is a St. Paul food shelf serving low-income persons in the Twin Cities who are living with HIV and AIDs. Bill's distributes primarily breakfast food items to over 50 families every week. Four members of Knox serve on the Bill's Pantry Board of Directors, and each Saturday you can find three or four more packing and delivering groceries.
The Department of Indian Works is supported both finacially and by Knox volunteers. Throughout the year, Knox members donate time, money and food to helping the DIW provide support to the American Indian community in the Twin Cities.
Naomi's Place is a St. Paul shelter for women and children committed to changing their lives and building strong, healthy families.
